From 0:00 on April 29, 2023 (flight departure time), travelers who take a flight to China can replace the nucleic acid test with an antigen self-test within 48 hours before boarding. The airlines do not need to check the test certificate before boarding.

For China-bound Travelers
I.Pre-boarding Test
All China-bound travelers will need to take antigen self-test or nucleic acid test for COVID-19 within 48 hours before boarding, and can only travel to China when the test result is negative or after it turns from positive to negative.
ll. Health Declaration to China Customs
Travelers are required to declare the negative test result to China Customs by filling the Health Declaration Form on the WeChat miniprogram of China Customs ( scan the QR code below ), or at https://htdecl.chinaport.gov.cn, or via the China Customs APP.
lll.Boarding Check
Airlines do not need to check the result of the antigen self-test or nucleic acid test before boarding.
IV. Self-protection on the Aircraft
Travelers are required to comply with airlines' epidemic prevention requirements and suggested to take good personal protection to reduce the risk of infection.
V. Inspection upon Entry
Travelers can go through customs with health declaration results, and China Customs may take tests according to a certain proportion. If travelers pass the health declaration and entry inspection, no further requirements will be imposed. Travelers with abnormal health declarations or symptoms such as fever need to cooperate with the customs in epidemiological investigations, medical investigations, etc., and accept the tests of relevant infectious diseases.
VI. After-entry Epidemic Prevention and Control
After entry into China, travelers need to strictly abide by the epidemic prevention and control requirements of the staying area.
