On December 6, the Canadian Government issued a so-called “Arctic Foreign Policy”, which distorts and misinterprets China’s Arctic policy and discredits China’s normal Arctic activities in accordance with international law. China firmly opposes it.

China urges Canada to adopt a right perception of China’s normal activities in the Arctic and spend more efforts on advancing Arctic governance and international cooperation.
