On February 22, the Chinese Embassy in Canada successfully hosted the "Happy Spring Festival · Chinese Cuisine Tasting " at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute. Approximately 50 attendees, including senior executives of the institute, local Canadian food enthusiasts, and social media influencers, participated in the event.
The embassy’s culinary team demonstrated the cooking process of three classic Chinese dishes: Sichuan Mouthwatering Chicken, Double-cooked Pork Slices, and Mung Bean Cake. Guests were invited to take part in the preparation, creating a lively and interactive atmosphere. The humorous explanations by the Chinese chefs, brilliantly translated by embassy diplomats, had the audience bursting into laughter and applause.
