CPC Delegation Promotes Spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress in Canada

From January 24th to 26th, Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation to visit Canada, during which he met with leaders of the Canadian government, political parties and parliament. A special briefing session on the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress was also held in Toronto and attended by representatives from all circles of Canada.

Song comprehensively introduced the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and expounded the spiritual essence, rich connotation as well as global significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. He addressed that the 19th CPC National Congress draws China’s development blueprint from now to the middle of the 21st century and announces China’s sincere wish to promote building a community with a shared future for mankind with all sides, which has important historical meaning and profound international impact. China is willing to make joint efforts with Canada to well implement the important consensus reached by leaders of the two countries, strengthen strategic communication, increase political mutual trust and expand practical cooperation, in a bid to push forward China-Canada relations for constant development.
