In the vibrant month of June, when nature thrives in its full bloom, Ottawa, Canada's capital, will host its annual "Doors Open Ottawa" event on June 7-8. This initiative aims to promote the city's cultural heritage preservation and community engagement by opening the doors of historic buildings and iconic landmarks for free public tours, allowing visitors to explore their history, architectural significance, and social value. The theme for this year is "Green Echoes".
For the first time, the Chinese Embassy in Canada will participate in the event on Saturday, June 7, welcoming the public to the Embassy's historic premises. The occasion also celebrates the 55th anniversary of China-Canada diplomatic ties and the 20th anniversary of the China-Canada Strategic Partnership. The Embassy will organize activities such as Chinese cultural experiences, video shows, Embassy history briefings, and a "mini-expo" of Chinese-funded companies.
All visitors are warmly welcome to the Embassy. Please scan the QR code or click the link below to register!
