On April 16th, Zhongguancun Development Group (ZDG) Ottawa International Incubation Center held a Ribbon-cutting Ceremony which marked its formal opening. Ambassador Zhang Junsai, Senior Advisor to Beijing Municipal Government Ms. Lu Xiwen, Mayor of Ottawa Mr. Jim Watson, president and CEO of Invest Ottawa Mr. Bruce Lzaenby attended the event and delivered remarks.

Ambassador Zhang extended his congratulations to the successful cooperation of ZDG and Invest Ottawa and stressed that the incubation center will not only bring two countries’ cooperation in the hi-tech industry to a new level, but also inject new vitality to the relations between Beijing and Ottawa as sister cities. He also expressed his wish for the cooperation in science, technology and innovation to become a new engine of growth for the development of China-Canada relations.
