A Farewell Luncheon Held by Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs John Baird for Ambassador Zhang Junsai and Madam Yin Guomei

On May 1st, Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs John Baird held a farewell luncheon for Ambassador Zhang Junsai and Madam Yin Guomei. They exchanged views on further development of China-Canada relations.

The two sides were satisfied with the development of the bilateral relations in recent years, and were confident in the long-term prospective. They expressed that they would work together to facilitate healthy and stable development of the bilateral relations. Minister Baird appreciated Ambassador Zhang for his outstanding contribution to promote the all-around cooperation between the two countries in the past three and half years.

Ambassador Zhang is concluding his tenure in Canada. He will leave for China on May 2nd.
